Every journey begins with a conversation.
Thank you for being here. If you have made it to this page, something on this site reached you. Maybe it was the question. Maybe it was the framework. Maybe it was a story that sounded a little too familiar — a cliff you recognized, a fruit you have been waiting for, a distance between who you are performing and who you actually are that you have been carrying longer than you would like to admit. Whatever brought you here, you are welcome.
This page exists for several different kinds of visitors, and I want to speak to each of you directly.
FOR LITERARY AGENTS AND PUBLISHERS
Essential Character Leadership: Codifying the Journey of Self-Knowledge is a complete manuscript currently in the final stages of preparation for agent submission. The book is part memoir, part framework, part diagnostic — written for the faith-integrated leadership reader with meaningful crossover into sports leadership, memoir, and secular personal development.
A full book proposal is available upon request, including market analysis, comparable titles, chapter summaries, and sample chapters.
If you represent authors in the Christian leadership, faith-based personal development, sports leadership, or memoir space and would like to learn more, I would welcome the conversation.
FOR SCHOOLS, ATHLETIC PROGRAMS, AND ORGANIZATIONS
If you are an athletic director, head coach, school administrator, or organizational leader interested in bringing the ECL framework to your program or community — through a workshop, a leadership summit, a speaking engagement, or a longer-term character development partnership — the first step is a conversation.
Not a sales call. A genuine inquiry into where your program is, where you want it to go, and whether this work is the right fit for the journey.
Every engagement is customized to the context. The framework is always the same.
FOR READERS AND INDIVIDUALS
If the question — Who are you, and who are you becoming? — is alive in you, and you want to know when the book is available, when speaking events are scheduled, or simply want to stay connected to this work as it continues to grow, I would love to hear from you.
This framework was built in relationship. It grows the same way.

The Positive Coaching Alliance published an article by Jason McGhee on Katie Ledecky and the culture of belief during his tenure at Stone Ridge School of the Sacred Heart. Additional writing, speaking samples, and press materials are available upon request.
A PERSONAL NOTE
I built this framework alone — in the quiet, in the searching, in the years when I was not sure anyone else would ever see it. But I did not build it for myself. I built it for the people I have been in the room with for thirty years. For the student-athlete who needed someone to believe in her before she could believe in herself. For the coach who poured everything into everyone around him and had nothing left for the mirror. For the leader who won everything and felt nothing. For the person on their knees — wherever that floor is, whatever that moment looks like — who needed to know that surrender is not the end of the story. It is the beginning of it. If any part of that is your story, I am glad you found this page. And I hope you will reach out — not because I have all the answers, but because the question is better when it is not carried alone.
Who are you — and who are you becoming?
Let's find out together.
